Yeah, I'm still trying to figure out why that moron got a raise

 

They had they home field advantage and their O line was playing a heck of alot better then, than compared to now. And you know if you watched it. Our D is way much better than Clemsons d. Our d couldnt penetrate LSU's O line back then. Now LSU O line done lost some of their greatness since the Bama and Carolina game. allowing clemsons d to get in the backfield.
But Hey 27 to 17.

The same with our team too. We look pathetic in bowls most of the time.

At least with Nebraska you know what you have to do....stop the run & you win. And they don't really have much quick scoring capability either so the Dogs should be OK......unless they just don't show up.

 

Way to go Vanderbilt, LSU let us down. ( SEC ). Today is going to be a great football day.

 

From CBS Sports...on todays bowls....

Capital One Bowl: Jan. 1, Georgia (-8.5, cover) vs. Nebraska -- The Cornhuskers' defense is mediocre at best, and at its worst ... 63 against Ohio State, 70 against Wisconsin. If Georgia shows up, they should win big.


Orange Bowl: Jan. 1, Northern Illinois vs. Florida State (-13, cover) -- NIU is not up to the standard of its predecessors in the BCS and should get run off the field by the much more talented Seminoles. But, this is Florida State we're talking about, so you never know. Huskies' QB Jordan Lynch is the best signal caller you've never heard of, but he's about the only guy they have that would play for FSU.


Outback Bowl: Jan. 1, South Carolina (-5.5, cover ) vs. Michigan -- USC-East hasn't been quite the same since the injury to Marcus Lattimore, but they're still winning. Their defense is ferocious. If Michigan can keep them off Denard Robinson, the Wolverines have a chance.


Gator Bowl: Jan. 1, Mississippi State vs. Northwestern (-1.5, cover) -- When I wrote part two of the bowl picks, I said the Big Ten was an underdog in every game. Since then, this line has moved to NU. I agree. MSU hasn't played well in any of their big games this year. The Cats get their first bowl win since 1948.


Heart of Dallas Bowl: Jan. 1, Purdue vs. Oklahoma State (-17) -- The Boilermakers are the biggest underdog of the bowl season and it's not close. However, the Boilers are much happier to be where they are, finally playing the right QB, and healthy on defense for the first time in a while. They should make a game of it.

Right So what's that say about Florida State since they got beat by Florida?

I'm worried about us not showin up. Maybe everything changed after that Bama game. We've lost our last 2 bowl games, so we need some redemption today.

Stopping the run might be easier said than done now that BIG Jon Jenkins is out. He's our main run stopper up the middle. It's gonna take a platoon of guys to replace him. We'll see what happens.

I think we can score a lot on them. They have a good pass defense, but I think our baby backs will be able to run all over them. If we can start running early, they'll have to back off of the pass defense. But, ya never know what Bobo is gonna do...

 

Ready to watch the Gator Bowl. I've got my cowbell ready right next to me. Not sure how this game is gonna go. Hopefully we have figured out how to tackle and Russell can keep his head on straight.
