Miguel, I'm not sure you can get the e-locker and a 4 banger. I could be wrong about that but I thought the TRDs are V6 only.

 

When do you think the "de-parting" will happen?

 

Miguel I'd take your UCA's. How much just for them?

Yeah Im thinking I can only get the locker in the v6. I reallt want the locker but Idk what to do. Dad says go for v6 all the way and I say 4 banger

Soon. I need to get the top plates from the dealer and go to a place and have them assemble the factory parts and then have someone help me take the front off and the ucas and then do the rear. I wanna have it done in the next few weeks.

SUPER RARE almost impossible to find with automatic and low miles.

-My insurance is $680 a year I don't have full coverage. Just collision and glass.
-I have no loan so we can't talk about payments and that non sense.
-Gas bill is around 350 a month
-Maintenance is cheap same as a second gen (John excluded from this)
-MPG is 27avg
-Good power in M/T
-1st gens don't have the fancy stuff, that Miguel doesn't like.

 

Its very difficult. Ever since these guys found the TW app. Cant keep up

 

Alright well I'm 100% interested in the entire rear. I can take it anytime Sooner than later!!! Also we can switch the same day. You can take my stock parts if you need them I wont need them

 

As much as you seem to be disappointed with your MPG's, I'd say go for the 4 banger. Just don't expect it to be a power house. The 2.7 is a good engine and the 1st Gens are smaller so it'll get around fine, just won't have the power you're used to with the 4.0L.

Yes it's a pain sometimes. I see it gets more active around 9pm-12 then shit starts really moving along.

I dont mind the power loss. Im not looking for power. I could care less but I do have a boat and an atv that I tow alot. I dont think the 4 banger will be able to tow my boat and thats one of the reasons my dad says i should get the v6.

 

Did Toyota ever make a 4 cylinder TRD Off Road?? I thought they were all V6

 

Friend has a 01 TRD w/ OEM rear E-Locker. 2.7 manual trans. I have seen one other than his and that's IT.
