I am two years into my MAC have yet to have a virus or malware problem. Quite simply, MACs rock. Windows PCs are constant headaches.

Here's a stand alone app I've used in the past, but it's been so long I can't really say how good it is.

paralels allows you to run windows inside mac os, bootcamp requires that reboot into windows, but in any option you need to run windows....

You tard. Put two fingers on the mac track pad. Click.

There's your right click. Nothing "hidden" about it.

Hidden that you need to turn it on, it's not default. Sorry I forgot to take my anti-tard pills today.

seems like it'd be easier to run windows in side a mac than have to reboot. i guess i need to find a copy of windows to use now

    could be easier.
Seems like it would be hella slow though considering you are running Mac Os running windows.

    I don't know though, I haven't tried these.

Running in Parallels is good if you need to do fairly lightweight things like running a windows browser for testing (don't get me started on how much I hate IE7), using Quickbooks or Access etc. But the virtualization process does slow things down a bit.

If you are doing heavy duty stuff - running CAD or other processor intensive things (heh heh games), then you'll want to boot the machine in Windows. The good news is that most Macs run Windows better than a lot of PC's if you boot directly.

yeah, i was wondering about that

i assume its only slower when windows is open? i'd really only use windows every once in a while. how much slower is it when its running both?

or anyone who support bill gates.

One thing I noticed between apple and pc is, a 1 year old apple still run as fast as the day you first fire her up but a 1 year old pc always run very slow compare to the first day you fire her up. So to get that new feeling after a year, you might end up doing a fresh reinstall of the OS on PC.

PC seems to clog its arteries faster them mac as it ages:confused:

I've been using Vista Pro 64-bit for 18 months with no problems. haven't reloaded it once, and have no complaints. I also have a better video card than any MAC out there ;)

Uhhh no I checked this crap out and your dead ass wrong. Two fingers will get you to scroll and some pleasure, not right click.

Use use one finger in either the right or left bottom corner of the track pad, and you need to activate this first.

Sorry for being such a tard! :smack:

Yeah, your probably running a stripped down version of vista if I had to guess. One of the reasons it runs so bad is all the visual bs they added over xp. Windows has always ran heavy anyways tho.
If you know what you are doing and want to take the time vista is ok.

If you are lazy or don't know about computers much or are just tired of maintaining your pc then Mac is a good route.

I've had mine (mac) for almost 2 years. No Anitvirus software yet no virus' hmmm....

    p.s.
Ctrl + click = right click :deadhorse:
