No not all out like half a number... For trip A, Trip B, and odometer... Only half the numbers show up the bottom half...

 

Please tell me you where careful when removing the LCD screen
You need to make sure that all the pins are back in the same spot when I staking the screen back on...

 

Just did this mod with 10 white LEDs and stock needles. Looks amazing! Well Worth getting done.

 

I checked all the pins and made sure they were all straight and none were bent but idk, try zoom in on my picture with the white needle, you can see the odometer

 

i cant see it in the pic...but my guess is that you might have either broke the screen of the pins arent in there correctly...

ive had people with the same problem and 2 where from them some how messing it up when removing it to do the work on it (they did the swap themselves)

 

Damnnn. Can it be like also that one of the wires came loose from the harness? I haven't taken it apart since painting the needle white but when I push on the harness the numbers reappear? Idk I was thinking that I would check or replace the harness and the wires going into the harness... If not how much does a new guage cluster cost?

 

I've been trying hard to do the vinyl color change from silver to black but I can't get the new ones the right size I need HELP

I wish you were in North Carolina I want this done, I already bought the LEDs thinking I would try it and I talked myself out of it, plus its my only vehicle at the moment so I can't afford any slip ups

 

im suppose to get 2 clusters in (extras) one in mint condition the other trashed...but the lcd screen works perfectly...i can sell it to you and ship it.
but it wont happen until i receive the parts and idk how long that will take
new dashes from toyota are $500+

what do you mean? did you buy the vinyl off of Jones or just made it yourself?

but they were too tall and didn't fit into the switches. I assumed the ones you linked would have a similar issue.

 

The climate control color isn't in the lights, it's an actual color coating right behind the exterior "silver" you see from the front of the dials...

How much for the display and how hard to swap that out?

 

It's pops out...did you not remove it while doing the swap? Lol

You use a flat head to remove the LCD screen

Where in NC you located? Its not that bad. I woulda got someone else to do it but I just said F it and it turned out pretty sweet!
