I thought the omega lowers came with the regular metal pins, hammer, etc.. I thought that's why they were better than the new frontier.

Making a buck? Despicable? The terms of sale is clear and no one is in desperate need of a 30 round mag; no one is in distress to buy these items. Now if he was trying to sell say baby food at such a markup in a desperate situation then that's a different story.

Do you feel the same about the people who sells other high demand items at a higher markup?

Cobra cb and 3' cb antennas, headache rack, bed rails, blacked out logos. Goodyear wrangler tires. Second gen Tailgate badge. Hella 500 series black magic lights and 500 series lights on top, led brake and turn lights on my headache rack. Custom Bumpers i built myself.
Was out at the ranch for new years for several days and got to sight in the black BM which now has my vortex from my AR (MOE bushmaster tan) The black is my dads and hes probably gonna upgrade it himself and im wanthing to get a eotech for mine and leave the vortex to him. I also wanna buy a BCM mid length upper and replace it with my current one. Then a new lower (either colt, Smith and wesson mp, or BCM) and have two completely different builds.

Foglights are for fog, not oncoming traffic!
    Well said.
Next they'll complain about the markup on lift kits and rebel flag decals.

You're clearly missing the boat on this one. The poster of that for sale thread is just one of the many people and companies trying to captivate on what is going on and, what is going on, is directly caused by the Newtown shooting. Cheaper than Dirt, Gander, Dicks are all marking up their inventory because people are going nuts and buying it. AR-style rifles, magazines, ammo and other accessories should not be grouped with other "high-demand" items just because of the circumstances that made the above "high-demand". I work at a local gun shop and we did not raise our prices. We did not have to. We sold out of all our inventory and made record totals. Magpul is another example of a company that did not raise their prices in accordance to everyone buying their product at record rates. So yes, to conclude, I do think most people are trying to make a buck on what's going on. You can use the simple supply and demand theory to rationalize the actions but I believe that the explanation for such astronomical prices, in distress or not, is much more pathetic.
