I don't think it will be too bad it's not like I'm bombing the whoops everyday it's just hi way driving. It is just an idea still so I'm not sure i will be doing the canti but it's at the top of my list to keep the bed intact

They'll see a lot more miles than if it was just a trail rig... The seals wear out faster than normal because they're sitting at an angle that wasn't intended for them to sit. This wouldn't really matter on a trail rig since it won't see nearly as many miles as a DD.

Still... sounds like a good set-up for Jerry and everything he's trying to accomplish. :D

Kewl, man, and good point. I think it's a very good set-up for your goals, Jerry. I just think the relatively high miles this canti will see will involve a bit more maintenance... :notsure:

It could but rebuilding shocks is not that hard. I don't think it will cut the life in half but you never know.

hmmm..i don't really see how that would make seals really wear out more. if anything, water would run better off them then it would in standard setup..

    but whatever haha

i like it  DO IT JERRY!! DOOOOOO EEEETTTTTTT!!!!

LOL yeah I'm thinking about it for sure it's going to be a pain in the ass but it think it will be worth it in the long run. At the same time creating a rear 3 link kit canti setup for the 1st gens that if works well might just be on the site for sale

Yeah they are set in their ways they think anything different sucks and wont work. I'm proud to build something unique sure it will be hard but it will be bad ass in the end. They will turn around soon enough :D

It'll be way better then stock anyways and even if the front is a bit better..it'll still be a monster.
