So I'm at work and yes I should be working but I cant help myself, Ive been writing down mods I wanna do to my new truck. I dont have the truck yet. Its still gonna be a month till I have it and I''m already modding haha.

 

Might be a long shot, but you try to sell your truck privately as it is now. Might get more money for it...

You should find some crappy tires for the 2nd gen and put your current tires on the new truck.

You should do that. Worst possible outcome you annoy a few people but get a discount or some free accessories/addons or a few dollars off on the deal

 

Post your truck on CL or even on here. Worth a shot. Post it for 23-25k. You've got nothing to lose to be honest. Besides dealing with a possible lunatic but you know we got your back

 

I have my stock tires on the 16" steelies with about 5000 miles on them,make me an offer and their yours.

 

Technically the deal is done, otherwise I'd have no issue demanding my truck back. I got to start off nice, and see where it'll get me. But from what I've seen of this place so far, I don't think getting anything out of them will be easy at all.

 

To tell you the truth i hate Balise. They put 0w20 in my truck when it takes 5w30 stupid fucks

Selling it for what it's worth plus the current note out on it would be kinda high. I think he said a few pages back he owes $14k so 20k plus 14k is kinda high for a 2010 with 35k miles

 

Actually I don't think he can sell it until the bank gets their money first.

 

Balise Subaru I am forbidden from entering the sales/service areas. Strictly. I had a head gasket go on my car in 2009 and they would not cover it under the 3/36k mile warranty. I had 35,900 on the car and they wouldn't cover it. I walked into the shop and showed them how it was leaking and they called me out. "Not using an OEM oil filter will cause a head gasket failure" staright up bull shit. I then had a BCM go out on me. I had a pair of PIAA behind my grille with the PIAA wiring harness wired according to the PIAA instructions and Balise Subaru said "we can not diag this car with all this aftermarket wiring" I told them nicely once "The wires go to the battery and thats it" they bitched and so did I. regardless Im not allowed to go back there

a lot was labor for taking the parts off but still. Not worth it. I think I'll give the rattle can a try and worst comes to worst I just plasti-dip it again. Its a little annoying though. I'll hold off on the mirrors though. Did you try to color match chrome, plastic, what material?

 

For 14k just keep what you have and buy a beater car for commuting. You are going to lose out big time when you trade it in.

 

So he'd have to pay what he owes which he most likely doesn't have (i don't know none of my business) then try and sell it and if he cant he's out 14k

Well if I trade it in, the dealer is just gonna pay off my loan and ill get the difference in a check. As far as I know it. So if the dealer gives me 20 for the truck and I own 14. They will give 14 to Toyota cause I finance from them and write me a check for the remaining 6k. I should have it right by my understanding.
