Couple shocks, some old tires, and a bad paint job
Not to mention the shocks on leaf sprung trucks don't really have much force on them since they're not supporting the weight, unlike the coilover.

alright guys so im sure there is never too much you can know about lt but i think i have pretty much researched enough to know a little about it (if that makes sesne). i am still in the VERY early research/planning stage and have come up with two options... either tc 3.5 inch over kit and a SUA rear setup done by whatever shop i can go to or go with the engage 4 inch over kit and their rear cantilever setup

can anyone besides mike post pictures of their 1st gen with the engage kit? also what is the general consensus on the engage kit? i saw pretty far back in this thread some people said they were swapping theirs for tc ... other than it being "wider" what should i know about it.

i was considering engage because im about an hour from them and can get everything done there. also im sure they will be able to do all the other things i want to do like boxing the frame and reinforcing everything else. either way i want to run 35's and as little lift as possible and have a low cog

Antonio the red first gen that got wrecked a couple weeks ago had the first gen engage kit, i dont know that much about canti set ups other then they are alot harder to tune then a normal set up and are only reccomended if you need to keep the whole bed like mike with his photography gear

thanks i didnt know the canti setup would be a little more work to tune... its not like bypasses take up that much space either when they go through the bed. like i said im still in the very early planning stage :D

but to all the tc 3.5 owners ... are you all happy with what you got? seems like a proven and well established brand/kit

i also tried to find some but what are some other offroad shops that can do all the fab work and whatnot for me near LA?

My Friend Acordova1050 on here was running the Older Engage kit, he will be running the New version of the Kit. You wont be dissapointed with their work and or the kit. Boxed lower, hiems on the Upper arm best bang for the buck kit, also a race proven kit. As for the Canti thats also a great setup from Engage. I would talk to them and go for it!

    Heres some pics.

Im running the TC kit. Im very happy with it. I only purchased it becuase of the superb deal i got on it. If i wouldn't have gotten it I probably would have done Engage. I have driven my friends trucks which they are Engage built and they are very nice offroad, and very close to Tc. Also considering you want to run 35's Engage's kit is probably the best for 35's as for clearance and being 4 over.
