That's what Ben was saying a little while ago, that it could be a winter blend. I'll see if idaho does. So you are saying that the gas might switch over to a 10% ethanol blend from what % in the summer? And that really causes a 2 mpg drop? Suck. And 60 is too dam slow haha. I got places to be! Ain't nobody got time fo dat!
    HA!
    HAHA!!

Yes it'll hit that hard since your truck where never designed to run ethanol.

I like to ride in style comfort and go hella fast on my way home

Yup. That is when they change here too. MPGs suck even worse after that. Even happens is the corola, goes from 32-33 during the summer months to 30.

Ok so more build less BS.

Started putting together a first aid kit

    f31d5faeec455d4b51691a524d5a5410_a5d2b402aa68d06a6ca0ac40f94b9e0ec6478b2f.jpg

Got holes drilled for bolts and the bussman box mounted.

And switch panel is done with wires. Going to test fit it later and cut the main wire to size. Then just have to solder on the disconnect. From there it's just getting power wires run to lights!

    Holy crap long night.

Wired stuff up loosely to see how it worked..didn't at first. Spent a long long time going over and over stuff...turns out I had 3 diodes backwards  fixed now tho and works great!! I have two bad switches tho I think. One stays on unless you single the back terminals and one won't come on unless you wiggle the terminals..so that sucks. Ill get new ones tomorrow...well..maybe if the store is open.

Then it's just spicing in the switch power..and then running power wires...whew..

Yea I'm going to pick up two blue torch fab battery boxes when I go duals to keep that from happening again. Cause the strap doesn't fit the battery.

Oh..and Co2 kit comes tomorrow :woot:

6th and final relay wired up. This will be for the hella 500s. Why? Cause then I can run 2 separate 12ga wire for each side as they will pull more power then anything

Co2 baby!!!!! BEST XMAS GIFT EVER!!!

Thank you Dad! Love you tons pops

not as big i thought it was going to be since it syas its supposed to be 36'' tall..seems more like 30..but ill take it :D

also ran around to all the thrift stores today and electronics stores to get my cable for camp lights.

    175fb074dead334600c26ecdca55e5fc_08f088e3d991ba4b0c6f07e8f944568a4de50eac.jpg

and here is my new idea for the lights.

im going to weld these brackes and runa bolt to hold the alum piece. Granted it won't move at all due to it being only like 1/32 from the rail.

    fb399d07b2f39200f03a83cc79394d77_de250273f285d678e9f748af051d834157d46bab.jpg

this will allow me to just screw them onto the bed rail when i need them :D and the will be solid mounted

where will they go for storage? the bed rack of course  the lights will be right behind the cab angled out so i can use them as rear side fills :p i bout 4 mini quick fist mounts that work PERFECT for holding them on the bed rack up out of the way. On top of that..i can use them as kind of portable lights to stick under the truck or someone elses if i ever i am on a trail and helping fix aonther rig(JON!) so..kinda turned into super mulitpurpose lights :p

i also ordered more rock lights :anonymous: after seeing Chads on his rig..i knew 12 wouldn't be bright enough. So i order 20 and got 5 free..so..should have around 20 rock lights now i think. Plus 4-6 in the tent and 1-2 under neath it at the ladder area. Sad thing is that they were cheaper then the place i ordered from before..and they won't take a month to get here.

    Lots to do now!
