Things are coming together.........handlebars didn't happen so used a yellow anodized set I already had laying around, negative chamber out on shock but have the upgrade o-ring kit to go in it and also have 2 complete pivot sets for frame coming even tho they aren't toast yet. The ones coming replace horst link bushings with sealed bearings so that should liven it back up to better than new. Other than that just need to cable up fr derailleaur. Fork is plush and lovely and shock feels fine too even without rebound pressure holding. Can't wait for rest of parts to show and get this thing finished.......................

I also have some black offroad eggbeaters with yellow spring matching the handlebars that I maaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyy give a try. Really don't like being clipped in offroad tho. We'll see............

I do not have a picture but I have my very first bike video. I started biking biking in 2009 and ride green and blue trails. I sometimes do black diamonds but I do have a preservation instinct that kicks in so I never enjoy those.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TiPNtYQzLvw

My 1st bike was Gary Fisher Opie Hardtail. Unfortunately 19 inch frame was a little too long for me so I gladly upgraded to Trek Fuel EX 5.5 WSD 17.5 full suspension bike. I swapped out girl seat for my old seat as well as tires and have been riding that puppy ever since.

Just saw this! Sorry haha, I've been away for the holidays now playing catch up on the forums.

PUSH Industries is the shiznit. Great customer service, and very knowledgeable group of guys working there. I'll be sending more bits to them come rebuild time!

    Thanks guys.

Palo duro canyon is a great place to camp with tons of sites and has about 25 miles of trails. I would suggest you go in the spring because it can get scorching hot in the summer.

Have fun and happy trails. Maybe I'll see ya out there.

Fairly new here but ran across this thread and thought I would share. It's a 2009 Felt Compulsion 150mm travel. Tried to take it for a ride today, but the snows getting a bit deep. Also is a picture of the bike mounted on the bed rail bike rack i designed and fabricated. Goes in very easy and leaves the bed empty for all sorts of gear!

so for those of you that follow the DH world cup, what do you think about sam hill leaving specialized? who do you think they will replace him with? pinkbike is throwing out big names but idk if i think they would make the switch with all they have going on.

I've been wanting to refresh my Talas fork and I've read different thing on rebuilding them. Some say to send it away to Fox as they are complicated. I mainly want to put in new fluid, foam o-rings, and dust wipers. Also is it true that you need a special tool to install SKF wipers?
