I have 295/17/70s on a 3" revtec lift. I don't have the stock rims. The specs for my rims are:

    • 17x8, 6 on 5.5 Bolt Pattern
    • Backspace = 4.5 in.
    • Max Load = 2200lbs
    • Finish = HD Chrome
    • Hub Centric = No
    • Offset = 0mm
Not sure what the stock specs are.

The tires stick out maybe 1.5 inches beyond the fenders. I don't have problems rubbing 98% of the time. At full lock on the steering wheel AND going over a bump, I rub.

They rub on the frame a little too. It's pretty minimal though.

    Hope that helps!

What size wheel does the manufacturer recommend for that size?
Also a possibility of rubbing on the UCAs.

Negative Juan, those only make the problem worse. That's the reason why I was rubbing out at gorman...1.25 spacers.

    Holy old thread....

The 17's are 7.5" wide, and +30 offset. That would make them around 5.5" BS

finally got the tires to fit, had to go with 1 1/4 spider trax wheel spacers and they clear with plenty of room between uca, a little rubbing but nothing a sawzall wont fix!
