Don't waste your time or money with spacer lifts. You already have 5100's, they are a much better option for lifting. If you don't like preloading your TRD OR coils, I'd look into aftermarket coils. You'll be looking at $160ish for new coils.

Wheeler's Off Road is awesome! Their service is great, pricing isn't bad either. The only thing that sucks about them when it comes to suspensions is the shipping costs since they're so far away. Compare pricing to Downsouth Motorsports, they have free shipping.

Miguel, check out Dr. Colorchip's touch up paint. Their system works very well. I had some pretty good sized dings all the way down to the metal on my hood. I touched them up and I can't find them anymore even when I'm looking.

Because its not in the buy/sell page I feel its a bit unofficial

Cool thanks. How does OME 885x with 5100's at 0" with top plate spacer in the front and 2" AAL in the rear sound?

I was reading a lot of measurements from guys who put on OME 885x's and some say with no extra weight in the front its around 2.5"-2.75". Top plate being 3/4" brings me right around where I want to be :D

The weird thing is Toytec says the OME 885x's are 2" of lift, wheelers say 1.75" of lift. JUST DONT KNOW WHO TO BELIEVE!?!?!

Satoshi'd grill. blacked out badges. aftermarket sound system. De-chromed and color matched. OME 885s + Dakars with 3rd leaf removed. LR UCAs. Scs stealth 6 with 285 duratracs. BAMF sliders
Believe tacomaworld haha. I got 2.5 inches with 885s and nitrochargers. I would say go with OME shocks instead of 5100s, you wont be able to adjust the 5100s with 885s and the OME shocks and springs are made to go together, plus i think they are cheaper.

I happen to have brand new OME shocks front and rear never installed. They got really banged up during shipping so DSM sent me another set. I was suposed to send them back but i have contacted them multiple times asking for a shipping label. Finally sonny told me to just hang onto to them until he can straighten it out with the shipping company. That was like 2 months ago tho. I am thinking i wont hear from them and i should just sell them on the cheap.

My 5100's gave me close to 2" up front on the .85" setting with FJ coils, which are firmer and .75" taller than stock 4Runner springs. The rear shocks gave a little boost in height too, because I kept my stock rear springs for a while after install.

If you end up selling them, let me know. I might be up for trying something new for the rear if the price is right. I bought my 5100's used and have put a few more years on them since.

For the life of me I can't figure out why all the companies are sooo far apart on their claimed lift from the same product. With a 4wd double cab v6, which is the heaviest 2nd Gen Tacoma, you'll get more lift than both Toytec and Wheelers are claiming. It's very misleading. With 885x coils, 5100's at 0, a 3/4" top plate spacer on the driver's side and a 1/2" top plate spacer on the passenger side, you can expect to be damn near right at the 3" mark. Ask Miguel and Evan, they both have the 885x coils, not sure if either did the top plates though. You should get new UCA's with that lift though.

That's it? Some paint chipping? It doesn't look like anything that would effect how they work. How much are you looking for?

Alright back to work. Ill think about it, it would suck if DSM contacts me and wants them back, i would end up having to pay full price for them probably. Their deal is they were trying to get the shipping company to pay for them, but the shipping company didnt want to because the pallet was signed for.

I'd definitely work it out with DSM before selling them. You wouldn't want to get stuck buying 2 sets of shocks!

Honestly, they probably forgot about it and/or already got the money from the shipping company and have no use for the damaged goods. Usually how it happens.

My Ex has a nothface jacket shipped to her before christmas a couple years back... I called the company we bought the jacket from and they sent another AND got UPS to refund us the money. Then 14-20 days later the original jacket showed up. Got 2 jackets and $75.00 for the price of one HAHA
