WTH happened to Canada?

 

they took a day off...... bad coaching move at the juniors with the bye to take the tuesday off...... canada just did not show up today at all, they skated flat footed, they left there goaltender out to dry..........


oh well next year the World Juniors has no more bye, 4 QF's about time

 

that sucks dude, all of canada's devastated and it won't even make a newspaper here.

 

Exactly, I mentioned the World Juniors to my buddy's at work, and I swear to god they looked at me like I was speaking in toungues... it's a damn shame

 

yah its too bad not everyone appreciates hockey, it truly is a beautiful game to watch, its too bad all these DB's make too much money and have no real love for it anymore


ive went to some junior games lately started supporting local teams gotten to see some really good hockey, in some ways glad I blew my shoulder before I played WHL, others sad as I played with Clark McArthur my whole hockey career until WHL....... he went on to win WJR's i believe or U17 in 04 or 05

oh well I hope these DB's in NY can fix the fucking lockout this week

 

Maybe we should petition the White House to get involved and solve this crap.. We need hockey..

 

please dont, let these fuckers hurt..... id rather see the league burn to the ground and start over than have a half assed deal made

Hockey has come a long way

 

Thank goodness they played the US yesterday and lost to a respectable opponent.
They way Canada played they would have got their asses kicked by Latvia

 

But at least we good get a little bit of the season kicked off.. I agree with you know that I think about it more.. I reascend my comment.

I haven't read through this whole thread but I am as pissed off as anyone about the NHL. I have really been into the WHL lately and go to a few Portland Winterhawks games every year. They are a great product to watch and I like seeing the young kids come up through the ranks.

Hockey by far is my favorite sport, grew up with it as my Dad played in the pro's. I recently started playing again in an adult (beer) league, truly the funnest sport I have played.
