You ever have those days where - things are going far too good??
    :D

I took off work 1/2 day today because I could (that's usually never an option). I've never shopped at GoodWill before - but decided to stop in and see if they had clothes I could use for work. I ended up finding 4 pairs pants & 3 pairs of shorts all for $25. SCORE!!! And I'm not talking cheap jeans, I'm talking...a couple pairs of Levi's/Gap (my favorite). SWEET!!

Now, I'm not a decorator and I've been looking for paintings to hang up around the house. Most of the stuff I find that I like - is $200+. I ain't spending that much money on something I hang on the wall. NO WAY!! I'd rather spend that on the truck! :D
So - there's this really cool beach theme painting on the wall 40"X36" at the GoodWill store. $45!! SCORE!!! I'm thinking, I should stop off at the GoodWill store more often!!

I've had my stock exhaust listed on craigslist for several months for $40. I forgot all about it. I thought for sure I'd have to cut this thing up and recycle the steal. Today - I get an e-mail from a guy who wants it and says, "God Bless You" at the bottom of his e-mail.

I'm thinking - I should play the lottery!!

Nothing like a day like this to boost your spirits. And the weather couldn't be any better!!

Goodwill and Antique stores are AWESOME for finding random stuff. I'd say a good 1/3 of the decorations around my place are goodwill/antique type finds.

Glad your day is going so well!!

If the check dont clear the exhaust dont get delivered.

Hope the good luck continues for you.

GODliness tried to buy a car I had for sale once. His check for 15k bounced. I had to go repossess the car the next day with the popo.

Cash & pickup only on the exhaust. ;)

Sorry to hear about what happened to you. People can be such asshats. Makes you wonder how many people that one guy has bounced checks on - probably MANY. He probably still doesn't have a clue how to balance his check book.

To make matters worse it was a cashiers from a bank. The check not only bounced, but it was a fake check. I got my car back, the asshat as you called him, left with the popo. I still have the actual check made out to me sitting on my work desk as a reminder to double check everything people say now adays.

But so be it, its a wonderful day for us all, so enjoy the moment.

    I had a lucky feeling once....and now I have a 3 month old....:D

My lucky story-I actually got to go into work @ 0500 this morning...but the training event I went in for went REALLY well and the evaluator was wicked cool. So this event had a minimum score to pass of 2 for most sections....I got 4's on all of them. And then I got assigned to bar-b-que all afternoon.

Not nearly as lucky as Jans half day...but it was a good one for me.

I had that lucky feeling once. That same day I got my first ticket because i came to a rolling stop instead of a complete stop out in the middle of bum**** nowhere.
