    Why are you running your tanks that low anyway? Fuel pumps are cooled by fuel. If you don't have enough fuel running through them they will over hear, and do it to often and you'll be dropping your tank.

    You deserve to run out of gas

    Have you calibrated the mileage on it yet? I have been calibrating it over the last 2000 miles and it is pretty accurate.

    Also I agree with the above, I have not run it dry and don't like to get close. Light comes on I fill up

    V6 4.0L is using .39-.45 GPH at idle, depending on A/C, and sitting between 4-4.5GPH at 70mph.

    I am not sure about the CEL or codes.

    I am aware.

    My father borrowed my truck the previous day and brought it back with 45 Miles until empty. So when I started it up I realized the fuel level and drove straight to the gas station and it ran out at 40 Miles Until Empty (About 1/4 mile away from the station). Regardless, the UG was inaccurate and said there was still fuel when in fact there wasn't.

    How I deserved that, I have no clue? :confused: :notsure:

    I need to look up on how to calibrate it and get on it!

    i emailed mine in on 12/5 too. still waiting...not worried...yet

    i can't figure out how to change the oil change beep/service interval.
    i believe there is a place to silence the beep and change the frequency of beepiness - look under the 'alarms' menu.

    my UG seems to want to think i have 2 more gallons than i really do. on a trip down the CA coast it said about 2.5 gals were left and the tank took 20.5 or so. can't truss it.

    Calibrate the actual miles traveled everytime you fill up. Mine started out being way off an now I'm spot on after 3 fill ups
