Sweet. Those will be good moose detectors, especially since you don't have an ARB.

Yes we do. I've never left anything in the engine before. But I was working on my friends VW the other day and I found an old fan belt. I tried getting it out. But it was impossible.

as cool as the orange spoke 24" rims would have been.........

.....here's the real new tire pics. 33x12.50 R15 Goodyear MTR Kevlars. Thought about changing rims but didn't want to drop the extra coin on new ones right now. I actually really like how these tires fit on my rims. Rims are 15x8 3.75" BS so no new rubbing as of yet and they line up really well with the outer lip of the flares. Just how I like 'em.

Rims will need a repaint once the weather warms up. This spring/summer really did a number on them with lots of rock rash. Oh well, it's all part of the fun.

Impressions on the tires so far are that they feel more planted than the skinny 33x10.50s. No suprise with the wider footprint. I like it, but the skinnys had quicker steering response. No noticable loss of power with the wider tires. And oddly enough I haven't noticed a difference in fuel economy yet. Time will tell if that changes. Looking forward to getting them in the rocks once the snow melts.

I like the look of the wider footprint.

Here's a before with the 10.50s when they were new.

Question about the MTR's.. Are they directional? If so, why are the tighter treads inside?

Your gonna love the 8" rim on 12.5s it tucks the rim in far enough that you barely get any rock rash
    Looks Awesome!!

They are non-directional. Tighter tread on the inside is meant to break the vacuum from the mud in between the tread blocks and allow it to eject the mud more effectively.

    Seems to work well:cool:
