I'm 2wd also. I went with a Bruteforce front bumper. I have some 5100's in box, thought about using stock coils.Idk.
I went with steel, price, turnaround, ability to weld on It In the future.

Very slick looking, man - a build thread is definitely in order.

spent the holidays with the family, and forgot about the ramps i had left in their basement. bringing them back home with me to aid in any solo wheeling adventures. my self-recovery gear list is pretty much complete. maybe a set of maxtraxdown the road, but these steel ramps are great for the time being

OME 885's are designed for +/- 110 lbs extra weight (just a plate bumper). If you are both wanting to get plate bumpers and a winch, I would suggest you get OME 886's. However, 5100's are not recommended to be paired with OME 886's. You should spring for the OME front shocks if you want to get winch, bumper, and 886's.

Just a few expensive & DIY things...

    Hence my dilemma,

I would rather have an AL bumper for less weight and avoid further issues caused by the added height/extension on parts of the 886 until I can get some weight on the front to compensate. I want to keep it under 2.5" for sure, and until winch and bumper, I'm pushing the limit of stock UCA's I feel.

If I was going plate, then of course 886.
I just dont wheel offroad enough to justify that. (yet)

I'm still just in the 7-9 months of research stage to try and figure out what the hell I want. :)

Thanks for the weight rating, I have been going back and forth on weight of different bumpers and winch combos.

Broke another one :( High speed runs + low hanging branches has now claimed 2 antennas and one light.

I have a now one on there, but it's kinda hard to see in the picture. it's a half-length whip, with a tuning anjustment at the base. figured i'd try a shorter one and see if that survives longer.

Ever thought about doing something like this to reduce drag? I know when I ran a yakima rack without a faring it was pretty bad.

If you know you're going to eventually get a winch and plate bumper, it's better to just save up for the OME lift (so you can have their shocks and 886's), winch, plate bumper, and UCA's. It's a lot of money for that, but it's better to not buy a mediocre lift now then have to replace the whole thing when you get all the other parts.

Figured I would post this here as well if anyone is interested. I would ship if you worked out all the details and paid.

Hello all. Thinking of selling my All-Pro bed rack and RTT thought I would run it through here before making a craigslist add. I do not have any recent pictures, maybe this weekend. However, I do have both on my truck right now and would be glad to meet up and show/setup if anyone is interested. Tent is a Technotop and has no tears or leaks.

1000obo. for package. Would like to sell together since I am taking a different direction with the truck.

Dude. I love the coloring of your truck. I searched for 4 weeks and couldn't find a green Taco in a 500mile radius of me. I live in AZ too!

    Looking good!
