Not bad at all - they still offer a 10-pk of Pmags for $125.

Building two more lowers tomorrow. One is gonna be basic (for now) and the other is gonna be a top shelf carbine.

    Top shelf :
Our house brand lower, built by JD Machine
    KNS anti-walk pins
    Rock River Arms LPK
Geissele Super 3 Gun trigger assembly
    LMT SOPMOD buttstuck assembly
    Spike's Tactical Heavy Tungsten buffer

For the upper, I'm planning on a Daniel Defense 14.5" barrel with a Surefire SFMB-556 brake pinned on
Daniel Defense BCG and 13" RIS II rail with an Aimpoint Micro T-1 with Larue QD mount. And can't forgot the BCM Gunfighter Medium latch charging handle ;-)

    Any other ideas?

Ditch the KNS pins. They foul up Geissele triggers.

SCORE! i may jump into that, i have enough on hand but with people like CTD asking 60 each and a possible ban may want a few more.

I'll have to check that out. My brother has been running them with his S3G and so far so good. Kinda makes sense though... Something as precise as a Geissele was made to use its own materials

I run KNS pins just fine with my Geissele triggers, specifically the SSA non-adjustable version...

Guess I better go pull out those pins that have run fine for thousands of rounds then!

Let me leave this little thought here as well - in the world of 2 months ago, the slop btw the pins and receiver were less important than the slop btw hammer and hammer pin, because a Geissele is a $300 part, and a lower is a $100 part. In today's world, your lower may soon be a precious commodity, and he trigger, even a $300 trigger, may be the wear part. That's why I've always run them in my registered gun, and will continue to do so. The most precision pins on earth don't guarantee good fit to the holes in your particular lower.

If you shoot enough rounds in semi-auto to "egg" out your recever pin holes; I am a jealous man.

Yep. I have seen a few civilian M16 lowers that have seen probably 100K rounds and their pin holes were just fine.

i was able to order 6 lowers from ambush tactical the other day. it was a pre order but they said they are getting cut right now and should ship in 2 weeks. i paid 115ea, they have good stuff. if you are looking for lowers they had 2500 of them being cut so call them up and see if any are still available. they are out of Idaho.

Agreed. Use the pins Geissele supplies, there is a reason they supply them you know.

I finally have stripped uppers being shipped to me. Means I can get a bunch of these barrels mounted and turned into uppers so I can somewhat get caught up on orders and list my upper halves as For Sale again instead of out of stock!

Btw any so cal members on here go check out the training section on Calguns. I posted up the dates for the first several months of carbine classes at Prado.
