I love my new truck but miss my Tacoma

Again, not sure if you know this or not but EVERYTIME you trade in a vechicle and buy a new one it will COST you money not save you anything. You want to get rid of a '10 that you owe less than 14K on and buy a 10 year old truck that cost you 16K? Are you out of your fucking mind???

I really dont know much about this, but cant you just refinance your loan to reduce payments if that is the issue?

Howdy - I am located in CT and I was wondering if any of you fellow Tacoma folks in my area had a garage, a lift, and a sense of adventure. It's getting way too cold outside to work and I've got a fun project I've been working on - please let me know. I'd definitely do my best to compensate you in one way or another! Thanks

it sounds like you just want a 1st gen because dave brainwashed you...

x2, youre not saving any money. especially when youre majorly downgrading vehicles...

why cant you look into this?????? we already told you to return your exhaust to stock, and lay off the skinny pedal for better mpg. maybe dont drive all over hells creation to show off for/see chicks?

I get what your saying but I am saving money lol. I don't how else to explain it . I'm not paying 16 for a truck. I'll pay 14 max. Since I'm giving the dealer my truck there gonna give me a 4 to 5k check. I owe 14k on it , I can get between 20 and 21 for it. Lets say they low ball me 19k for it. 14k is gonna pay off my truck and ill have 5 k left in a check there gonna give me. So it a new truck cost lets say 14 k, 14k - that 5k check = 9 I left on my loan. Ill be able to put a 5k down payment on a new truck. That's better then 14. If I buy a cheaper truck then 14 then loan will be even cheaper. So yes I'm saving money. Gas won't be as much if I get a 4 banger, And my truck insurance will go down 200$ a year. So I say I'm sayings money.

dealership is not going to give you 19 for your truck. im thinking high 15s low 16s... especially with the exhaust, painted rims, scratches and everything else. youre going to be disappointed.

Idk how else to explain it. I'm a loss for words. I brought a new truck I shouldn't have. I got 4 doors that I don't need or will ever use. Waste of space. I don't need to be spending all this money when I can downgrade to a less expensive truck and save money. It's stupid. I'm throwing all my money out of the door every month. 450 a month truck payment needs to go.

All you can do is go to a dealer and see what they will give for your truck as is or after the return to stock. Then compute the new payment and see what it will be. Have you looked at your truck used what are they going for if you sell iy outright.

The exhaust is coming off. The rims are coming off. The scratches are getting blended it of sanded and coming off. Idk how you think I'm gonna get only that much. That ri Tacoma guy got 16 for his with cracked bumper and 47k. I have 36k and dc. If I clean it up, make it look perfect then yes I can get more.

youre talking about a dealer. their job is to MAKE money not give miguel a good deal, and write him a check for 5k dollars... they dont NEED or even WANT your truck... you NEED/WANT them to buy it, and they know this. keep that in mind.

No offense but if your paying 518 a month for a truck, that's just wasting money right there. Paying that much at 22 years old. Crazy.

Miguel if you really want a first gen, thats awesome go for it. But like rob said you always lose money trading in a vehicle, you will be lucky if they lowball you at 19k. The dealership always wins and will probably make 30% on your truck and maybe more off of the truck your buying. Your loan will be cheaper but you will probably be making payments longer. I just think you should go get a number from a dealership before you get your hopes up. And if it works out i hope your happy with the first gen because you have a nice looking truck and it would suck if you regretted selling it.
