I think it would be smart for jax to sign tebow. They can barely fill a reduced stadium, he's from there, and honestly I have no clue who their qb was last yr. ticket, merchandise, and tv sales will pay his salary, and if they can improve at all over last yr it's a win win situation.

People should take that QBR sh*t ESPN promotes and put it where the sun dont shine either you are good or you suck.. As for Tebow the best thing he could do to help himself if he really wants to be a QB is make a phone call to this guy named Steve Young and say help me... If he cant help nobody can

We do know, we see it, he just showed you. Denver sees it, the NFL sees it. Scouts see it. My 4 year old son sees it. Mike from NH is the only guy that doesn't see it.

Jacksonville will benefit from it. That's the only team that makes sense for him to go to. The owner actually wants him. The fans (for now) want him. They'll make money, and, if they get him quick enough, might even get a couple games on TV just because the stations will get ratings from people wanting to see Tebow succeed/fail.

If he fails, all the Tebow lovers will say "He has a terrible team around him! It's not his fault! No one can win in Jacksonville!" while those same people said it was ALL him that took Denver to the playoffs and refuse to look at the defense's play or give Matt Prater ANY credit for what they did.

Now, to say something "Good" about him; he did at least deserve a shot in NY this year. Even he can't do much worse than Sanchez.

Yeah there will always be excuses for tebow. My wife doesn't know shit about football even though she was a cheerleader, loves tebow only will watch if he's on. She's not alone.

I don't want everyone to think I hate the guy. I'm glad there's a supposed "good guy" that kids can actually look up to and a good Christian guy that has a platform to show his passion for Christ. I'm all for that. Good for him. He's just not an NFL QB. When my co-worker brings him up, he says "nevermind, I forget you hate him." No...as a person, he seems like a good dude. But I don't care about that on the field. You don't deserve to start at QB in the NFL just because you're a good guy.

No I like the guy and want to see him succeed, it's just probably not gonna happen. Personally i wish more pros had his attitude. I do think its bs for Espn host to constantly bash him. For me Espn is pretty much worthless.

everybody talks shit about players... myself included entirely, but keep in mind... the person you're talking shit about is still a pro athlete at the end of the day and you're not. no matter how bad that person is at their position... they're still 100x better than you are

Come on...we all know everyone in this thread could be a better "pro" QB than Mark Sanchez.

i dont love tebow, i just think hes a better player than you guys give him credit for. hes a leader, he doesnt get arrested for beating his wife or armed robbery, hes not a piece of shit, hes very smart, and hes also young and makes rookie mistakes. like someone else said, the NFL doesnt care about what we think, so there is no point arguing it, but when he takes jacksonville to the playoffs next year are you guys going to say the same shit about him and how it was the defense that got him there?

i think thats like the chicken or egg argument though. without defense he wouldnt be able to score or hold the other team, and without him back there, they wouldnt be able to score or drive down the field :notsure:
its hard to say defense is the ONLY thing that got that team anywhere. you have to admit that tebow did a somewhat decent job, and that the WHOLE TEAM got to where they got because they ALL worked hard...

I know everyone's tired of reading on this topic, so this is my final post on the subject. They won, what, 8 games with Tebow at starter last year? Matt Prater: • Has made 40-of-43 career field goal attempts in the fourth quarter or overtime, including four game-winning field goals on the last play of the game in 2011 (3 in OT, 1 one last play of regulation) to tie for the second most in a single season in NFL history.

    • Joined Mike Vanderjagt as the only two players in NFL history to kick a 50+yard field goal with less than a minute remaining in regulation to force overtime in addition to converting a 50+yard game-winning field goal in overtime with his performance vs. Chicago (12/11/11).

But the guy got 0 credit for any of their wins.

    Aaaaaaaand I'm done.

Sucks that it's a slow NFL week.
