Good exercise  Hope the eye gets better. Sounds like an infection. Don't wait too long to get it checked.

    Hapy new year to everyone.

Trip to Michigan was terriffic as always. Lots of snow on the ground but not on the road. I like to travle on the 31st of December because there is very little traffic on the interstate.

On a downer note the gas gauge broke in the car. The good news is the Drivers Information Center still keeps the correct fuel data and I can buy a replacement part for $30 as opposed to a new fuel pump/sender for $600. I just need to do the work to replace the sender's wiper blades. Not that hard of a task.

    Morning all:
    Welcome to the thread!

Sounded like a war zone around here, most still fire shotguns in the air to bring in the new year.

    Tom:
Good to hear that you had a safe trip.

Mike: Equipment usually works, untill you go to use it!

Afternoon everyone!! Hope you all had a wonderful evening - we went to the movies, then out for an early dinner at Lynn's favorite restaurant. Stopped at her parents' on the way home and enjoyed a bottle of champagne. By 9 we were in the spa sipping a little limencello...and asleep by 11 last night.

Today, we are just being lazy.

    Happy New Year!!

Well, there just went your chances of hitting the lottery!
NEVER eat anything with wings on new years day.
Old superstition, that "your luck will fly away".
Pork and sauerkraut W/ mashed potatoes is a common new years dish in our area. :hungry: !!
At least now, if you don't win the lottery, you have something to blame it on!

Yea, 365 peas, but its the other critters with the wings! ;)
Here's one I heard this morning:

What do you call 47 millionaires sitting around the TV watching the superbowl?

    THE PHILADELPHIA EAGLES!

Of course you can substitute another team If yours hasn't been there in awhile.
I have a buddy thats a Raider fanatic!! I'm going to hit him up with that one. :D
