Key fob stopped working replaced the battery still not working. Any ideas, when I use the key to unlock it my alarm goes off until I start it. Which is a problem being that I leave for work at 5am.

probably not your fob then and is probably the actual alarm module

    aftermarket?

edit: if so, it may need to be reporgrammed.

    I dont either!
    [soapbox]
I don't see why an owners manual should ever not be in a used car when you buy it. It fits perfect in the glove box, it is most useful there, so that you can access it whenever you may need. And it should be considered useful for the entire time you own the car, so there is no reason to sell it or give it away.
But nevertheless, I always end up buying the used car that has no manual, and when I go to buy one, nobody want to sell one like the the previous owner did to the one that should have been mine.

Alright devin, south Philly cheesesteak down off Lincoln and I 25 is the best closest cheesesteak to pats or genos back east. I've tried the south Philly cheesesteak from the DU location and it sucked compared to this one, was totally different. The owners of the Lincoln location are from Philly.

heres what I did cuz I'm no rich person

Un sodered the trunk opt button
    unsodered the arm/disarm button
Sodered in place of the arm/disarm button the opt/trunk (my truck has no trunk)
and had a functioning key fob again. Before doing that I checked the button and it was bad.

Devin - Have you made a new post on TW for your problem? There should be someone out there that has a solution.

I would say try reprogramming it. I got a new key fob when I bought mine because it didn't come with the truck and got the privilege of programming it myself.

I was never a fan of the South Philly at DU. I think its more popular as a bar than a cheesesteak place now

Apparently they are franchised and owned by different people, I don't think the DU location has a clue about cheesesteaks. The one time we went in they didn't know what wiz was!!!!
