Dude, I was at the same level. When I'd borrow a friends 157cm board, I'd be confident, awesome, actually started going fast and filming us having fun..

    and then

I moved to CO, elevation increase of ~10,000 feet.

F'n start getting tunnel vision at the top of the lift at Loveland. Snow and sleet pelting my face, no energy, can't breathe, tumbling down slopes.

That was the last day I paid $50 to eat shit for an entire day.

I miss it, but at the same time I don't. If you can do it here though, you can do it anywhere. Shit - you'd probably be like a pro at the east coast resorts.

I've never had an issue boarding here in CO. I take the first runs a little slow, get used to my board again and my foot positioning....(I don't board very often) and then hammer down.

Has anybody tried to use the FJ Key fob on a tacoma? I like the idea of not having a separate fob to unlock. I know they are expensive but I am more than happy to pay for it for the convenience.

Yeah my hometown is 17' above sea level

Got here in may 2012 and the first night im having some beers ... go to stand up and almost fall down and im like wtf ive had maybe 4! (im a bit of a drinker)

Then there was the time I went mtn biking at winter park ... their machine that issued lift passes was broken so we had to wait at least an hr and a half for them to fix it ... so i figure a bloody mary and a long islands a good idea .... needless to say i was fast once i got to riding and luckily managed not to hit a tree

YES!!!!! wiz is the bomb, and the only way to order one in philly, i asked the wife last night when she went to get them if she ordered it "Wiz Wit" and she said no. ha ha ha

in case you need to know Wiz Wit means a cheese steak with wiz and onions if you were to order it at pats or geno's in south philly. i was afraid to order the first time so i made my wife order for me years ago.:D

I actually think the riders that come out here from the east coast are of better quality because you have to stick your landing on the east coast ice!!! out here you can sluf your landings and just spin around to the good edge and roll away.

I have major problems breathing at altitude though so i feel your pain. I get winded very easily hiking in the mountains

Damn my weekend is filled already. I could maybe do Sunday as well but not Saturday. The link doesn't give much in detail as to the stuck situation. Anyone know more about how he is stuck?
