Lmao! I bought the same thing with 2 extra chisel tips 3 days ago. Shipping said its delivered so i got something to look forward to when i get home.

So my buddy talked me into getting the t4.1 instead of the everything else. Anyone have any coupon codes for tower hobbies or other places?

 

No codes, but a T4.1 is an awesome stadium truck model. However, it's designed more for a track than backyard bashing.

Came to the local track and I looked to my left on the drivers stand and Ryan Maifield was standing right next to me lol. Pretty normal to see these guys here still a little surprising though haha

 

Yeah, i dont solder alot but when i do its ususally for awhile, my weller iv always used died last week so i went with the 950. Got my work station all set up mostly, will do some soldering tomorrow on some esc's, gonna be weird with a iron with controlable heat, may actualy look like i know what im doing .

ha.. all are to something, the dx3s to the far left has 9 vehicles on it, and the dx3r has 3 more on it, if i ever get rich i will buy more spektrum rx's and loose some of those controllers

Hobbyking.com sells spektrum compatible recievers for like 15 bucks. Much better than my radiopost receivers for 80 bucks lol

Oh trust me I know about the orange rx's, i have about 12 of them, there sold out now, went to order 10 more the other day.

I'm sure you know, but make sure your radios are at least DSM2. The micro Orange rx will not bind to DSM tx.

 

Thanks for the heads up, iv been all through them, i got 12 in my cars and a few boats, they work awesome really, cannot tell a difference between them and a $50 sr300.

Thinking about ditching my dx3s and dx3r for a newer dx4s.

 

Yeah, I've used them as well, for surface and aircraft. I swapped (actually downgraded) Tx back to a DX3s from a "R". That's when I found out, also "some" DX3s will work, just not the earlier ones were not DSM2, later ones are. So you may be good. Yeah, that 4 looks sexy don't it?

My main reason for wanting it is, its big enough to hold all my r/c's, it supports marine and all previous models, and it has that extra channel i can use on my crawlers for winches etc.

I know i can almost make the money back by selling my dx3s and the dx3r, just havnt said screw it and ordered it yet, haha.
