Idaho BS thread in the PNW

Oh I know to get what I want. It's just helpful conversation and giving me an idea on what to do. You think the cbi one is bulky? Dam I looked at it and thought it was pretty minimal and compact. Guess I'm basically blind lol.

You can't handle the down time haha. Oh my god if I needed the break so bad. A break from school takes about half the daily stress out. Hopefully I can get my jobs worked out smoothly and get into the hang of it before I start school.

Ive wheeled hard enough to use a stinger and got in a head on once that kept my truck from going over onto its lid. i think they are beautifull.

 

I think the TG hoop could be tall enough for what you want. It just depends on how far forward you want to angle it. If it was more vertical on my truck it wouldn't cut off any of my lights. But I wanted it angled more forward.

The other option is to where the lights are actually mounted. My mounting tabs are on the top bumper tube which places the lights behind the lightbar. If you welded the mounting tabs to the top of the light hoop so that the lights were basically upside down it would put them in front of the main bumper hoop a little but wouldn't block any of the lights. really no different than how the 240s are on Monte's truck.

 

Well angling it forward I think is important to help protect the lights.

And I will admit I wish my mounting holes were about 1" more towards the grip so that my 240s didn't hang like 1/2" in front of the bumper.

Granted too much angle is bad too..like I said there is a nice balance point.

I also never liked how lights looked hung from a hoop..just looks odd to me I guess

 

Thats what I like about tg, is they send the hoop seperate so you can mount how you like

 

I'm taking part of your guys advice, I told Nathan I wanted the tube for the light hoops, but just not bent so I can work on my own, hopefully I can find a way to make the light hoops a bit smaller and more square to match our front end.


Actually working on the truck today kinda! I'm replacing a corner light bulb that is burnt out! Exciting!

 

I still havent decided on the TG or All Pro bumper... wish i could see them in person

 

I'm grabbing a AP one when the time comes around.... Unless a bruteforcefab happens to show up in hawaii

The light is fixed! AND! I filled up the washer fluid! I did a lot of work today, not sure if I have much more in me.

I wish All Pro still made their hybrid. That would look super awesome on a first gen. I am going night wheeling tonight!

 

Isnt there supposed to be an "H" at thee end of Bra...h? So that way you are not calling him an over the shoulder boulder holder?

 

Too much $$ and i dont want a plate bumper. Too heavy for me. I want a tube or hybrid bumper
