    anything i should know about welding to me truck?
    remove battery wires from battery or anything?
    and tips for welding the nut onto the the sunken in diff plug thing that toyo made a shitty recessed Allen key for no reason errrrr.....
    go to store get nut and as tim suggested insert a bolt into hold hold in place and tack it....
    and pray you just didn't tack it to the side of said diff
    remove plug finish welding nut onto plug re install.....have beer

    I didn't use a nut, I used a cheap hex head socket from Autozone. Welded it to the plug, removed the plug, then cut the weld to keep the tool. Easy-peasy

    yea then have this same problem again.no thanks
    i had a bitch of a time removing it the first time......
    then toyo replaced it when they did the diff seals....
    then i loosened it and applied anti seize so it would not happen again...and guess what here i am.......
    i hate stupid Allen type nuts/plugs whatever......
    i mean there is no reason for it there is plenty of clearance there
