Help picking a tire???

I have an 09 4x4 double cab short bed. I'm putting a 3 inch lift on it, I have trd trail team wheels going on after the lift. The tire I'm looking at is an 285/75/16 terra grappler. I plan on driving 80 - 90% street so I'm not thinking a M/T will be needed. But I still want a aggressive looking tire!

Just looking for input and feedback on tire sizes and brand etc...

Terra Graplers Suck IMO! I bought some rims from a friend, had terra grapplers with 10k mounted already, so i drove with them for about another 10k, and they were worn to the max. just my two cents

 

Cooper AT3s are great, I just got them in 235/85r16. They are super quiet on the freeway. And they were only 147$ through Discount Tire Direct.

 

I have the Michelin M/S2. I would highly recommend them if you are looking for a tire that is mainly for on-road, but still handle fairly well off-road. Only draw back is they don't have a very aggressive look.

 

An aggressive looking A/T would be something like the Goodyear Wrangler Duratrac or Kelly Safari TSR. Maybe even the Hercules Terra Trac D/T.

I took a closer look and I don't have white letters on either side???

 

That's a nice looking tire. Like the rims too, but I guess I'm biased since I have the same ones in anthracite

 

Seriously? That's weird I thought they always came with white on one side??

Looks good tho man.. Let me know your impression if them once you get driving.. I'm planning on prob end of Feb for new tires

 

You got the E rated BFG AT's that have black side walls.. No white letters. The 285's come in 2 versions "D rated" with white letters and "E rated" with black side walls.
