    neglect, mostly.
i don't think his wild man style would fly in the NFL. he's got a lot to learn and he truly doesn't look like a heisman winner, but the squirrely bastard's got it into the endzone twice.

He is also a whole lot less cocky and doesn't do all of this scramble bullshit. He does designed runs and hands the ball off a whole bunch. Johnny Fumble has a great line and receivers that give up on routes and move to the ball, wherever it is going. It is a gimmick and won't work forever. Defense will learn to be patient and cause pressure. Blitz five guys and have a spy, use your other 5 defenders in man to man coverage. Problem solved. RG3 and Russell Wilson are running a read-option, not the "scramble and throw."

He has talent, I'll give him that. He'll still be figured out by people who get payed a lot more than me to coach football in real life and not on a PS2.

Auburn's new 4-2-5 would probably be effective for covering and stopping Manziel.

So, none of these DCs that are out there making all this money haven't thought of or tried this? There is at least four months of film out there, and he looked even better tonight.

Auburn!? Did they even have a defense this year? I thought after they got the opportunity to score, then punted, they automatically gave the other team a touchdown and kicked off to auburn again:notsure::anonymous:
