Yeah there is dual chambers to set ride height and a extension stop so it go's back to right height and you can still maintain that right height at lower pressures giving you a flexy shock. They are pretty sweet if you ask me and everyone I've talked to loves them on the trail and the road. They are not recommended for heaver trucks so with the 1st Gen they should work well with my sprung weight being on the lower side.

Pretty flexy if you ask me :D

Yeah and they are on sale now i can get them cheaper then C/O's I'm really considering it just to be adjustable form street to trail. With the Coil overs it's really one or the other and i won't be able to hold a full load in the bed with C/O's set up for crawling

Yeah, since a big part of your goal is load carrying ability, this sounds like it'd be way better than coilovers.... and a bit more blingy than chopped, leaf-spring packs! :D

Yeah I camp way too much with full loads to not be able to carry weight in the bed. And the whole build is kinda blingy so why not one more thing. And at full pressure the rears will hold just under 4000lbs  I'll never get it that high maybe 1000lbs in the bed + the truck weight so I will be good because we all know how light these trucks are in the rear.

 This truck is my DD and I'm waiting until the last minute to cut it out. My axle parts are still not completely together once i have the axles all built and we clear some of this shit out of the shop I'll be cutting it up.

I'm working on my vendor status with ORI i know it really don't help any of you TW guys but soon we will be offering ORIStruts. Testing them on my rig will be the first thing and designing a 3 link SAS kit for the 95.5 to 2004 Tacoma's.

That's a nice rig! Hope you can make it to Moab this year...

Hope my leaf spring SAS is done before then too. Not smart enough for links... Or I might have the wife do the math and I'll do the easy stuff.

I'm hope I go too :( it all depends on the wife and baby if there good I'm going. And you should do links WAY better and not that much more to do yourself.

A buddy of mine owns an off-road shop here in Albuquerque and he's got a trophy truck that he built and takes to all the races... this isn't him but I found this picture on his facebook today. Thought about your build when I saw it...

It apears that ORI struts are pretty competition worthy!

Then found more pics of the rig... (odd angle) and figured i'd share
