Im pretty sure we are done with deer this year...we got two off the property..now gunna focus on hogs...dunno if we have any turkeys.

we process everything our own..we have a grinder, but we do take some to get made into sausage.

judging by where the hitch is in relation to the body and the bumper, it looks like it has about a gazillion inch body lift on it..

Those are awesome vehicles. I wheel with one in VA. this crazy woman in her 60s wheels the hell out of it. There's also a pretty cool one around Melbourne on tall skinny km2s.

One hell of a body lift on that one though....

God I love beer. I can drink way too much of it, though.

Planning on hitting up Hollerbach's Willow Tree Cafe in Sanford this week/weekend when my Dad is in town. We both love German beer and took a trip to Germany together last May. Had such a blast. Hoping it's good. Their beer menu is pretty impressive.

Oh, and the backstrap talk/pics made me think about the burgers the girl and I made last night. They're called Cowboy Burgers - ground beef (grass fed, preferably), jalapeno, cheddar cheese, jack cheese, salt and pepper. Amazing.

Grilled them up on our Cuisinart grill/panini press/thingy. Fucking amazeballs.

Whole Foods has them premade for $7.99/lb which is damn good for Whole Foods. I'm going to try and make them myself next time - adding a bit more jalapeno and cheese.

I was too young to care about the beer but I loved the experience and being able to live there. We lived there from 1981-1985, then moved back from 1989-1992. Being an army beat had its perks.
