How is it to shoot pugga? I was thinking of a GSG 1911 or a P22, but the SR22 looks like its a tighter build. But some stupid thing keeps bringing me back to the P22 in OD to match the rest of my OD stuff. Though I have thought of the MP22 S&W for 22 plinker. I have a SW revolver double action 9 shot but semi auto is fun, and would save me tons of money plinking.

Harden your bark, there are storms on the horizon.

Was just on Ruger's website and saw a threaded version. Hoping they have the threaded barrels for sale soon.

    WHERE did you find that?

I have the 15-22 and was looking for a 22P for the longest time. Did you buy it used? I haven't seen them anywhere in the last 2 years.

Thanks Billy, just got it broken in today :D

As far as a review, overall I'm very happy with the gun. My only complaint is the magazines. They do not seem to be very well constructed and seem to let the bullets shift side to side, not keeping them very well stacked. I shot through almost 150 rounds and had 2 misfeeds (both caused by the magazine). One of them, the bullet must have gotten hung up and then got vertical so it didn't feed correctly.

Anyone know where I can get better quality magazines?

Besides the magazine, I really enjoyed shooting it. I was at a 10 yd indoor range and at that distance all 150 rounds I shot were within a 5" diameter (as a novice shooter, that's not bad for me and I wasn't shooting slow). It has a similar trigger feel to the MK III and was very accurate right out of the box. It felt good in my hand, I swapped to the smaller of the 2 grips that came with it and liked the magazines without the pinky extension.

Tear down for cleaning was very simple, just flip a button, pull the slide back and then it pulls forward away from the base.

It's a fun gun to shoot and surprisingly accurate for how short the barrel is. If I can find a better mag for it, I'd be a happy camper but only 2 misfeeds in the first 150 rounds isn't bad for a brand new gun. I'll try different ammo and see if there is any difference.

Whoa - awesome. I was playing with one at BP wishing it was threaded. Similar in size to the Walther p22 but thicker and less toy-feeling. May have to pick one up

I'm almost certain it's a Rock Chucker. Classic design - about the only thing they've changed is making it a little taller for long rifle cases now. Should serve you well.
