Evan, why can't you glass in one of your underseat storeage comparments? What's the difference?

I have a pair of 12s in my regular cab..just need some ingenuity. I'm going to brainstorm redesigning the enclosures, right now they hit the seat lever. I think I can pull it off without cutting the seat hooks or jack mount..my buddy is a carpenter and has done car audio stuff before.

Who's thinks its a good idea to mess with my trucks wiring and try to throw in some LED's just for shits and giggles? I'd use a write up not just free ball it. But you all know my capabilities.... :D

I could have, and i almost went that route. But without cutting the seat frame the biggest sub i could get in there would be 6.5" i was tempted to try that with two small subs but fiberglass is so messy and i am not that good with it.

One more thing before I pursue this endeavor...
Saw a silver double can taco at The Blackstone Movies last night around 1 with bug deflector roof rack behind grille lights grillecraft 17" or so chrome rims and looked like 3" lift. Show yourself or forever hold your peace! Made me so happy to see but couldn't go get a closer look :/

    OK here's the pic again..

The left side shows the hump, that's the 9 inch. If you measure top to bottom you'll get 7 inches within about a quarter inch.

You can't see it well in the first pic where the wiring is shown, but all the wiring goes into a harness which then clips into the tube. If you need to remove the tube for more room with the family, just unclip the harness and out comes the tube. Doesn't weigh that much at all, one of the kids could lift it.

More worried about the "wiring" part but I think I'll try to put them behind the grille. Or across my bull bar off the completion of the attempted set up.

This isn't the LED bar I ordered. Just some knockoff from Autozone. I'm going to test my electrical wiring capacity and see if I can get these bitches to light up. Also may buy some HID's at autozone. And install a shovel/axe mount for the bed of my truck, and spray paint my front valence and remove the plasti- dip. Then paint my bull bar again. Should be an interesting day.

My disaster was just my steering wheel audio controls.

And a lot can go wrong based on your skill set :smack:
