How long will you guys give a program to produce results before you expect results?

I have been doing circuit training for a month or so. But I don't feel/see any results. I was told that this type of working out will gain size... It consist of high rep (20) training with failing at around 15-18. A total of 3-4 exercises for three sets.

    Any thoughts?

It's take me 3 years to gain 40lbs of pure muscle lol

But I can see results when I switch from 5x5's to 10x10's. I notice more striation in chest shoulders in abs, vs a little bigger muscle

What are you eating? For me it boils down to what's on my plate. Want to be cut, eat less. More muscle, eat more.....regardless of the program.

I'd suggest doing a normal heavy weight routine for a couple months before doing any type of crossfit/circuit training. Heavy weights three days a week and some form of cardio 4 to 5 days a week.

After at least 3 to 4 months of doing that steady, then I would think about switching to crossfit/circuit training. You need to build a strong core before doing really athletic moves or you risk injury.

I used to for sure especially when I started lifting. After doing structured Crossfit for a while and having someone watch me all the time the feeling went away. Just keep going and once you start to see changes you'll make the experience about yourself and not worry about anyone else

WOW, I haven't been on a bench in months :( shoulder won't let me.

I just stick to push ups now, -_-

Is it that the physics between bench press and push ups are completely different?

I'm usually the opposite and tend to do more cause I show off a little (more pull-ups than before etc).

Personally, I don't like the gym scene as there's too many people and there's always some weirdo watching while you workout.

At home i have a 350lb olympic weight set (but no space for a rack or bench) or hit the park for sprints and calisthenics! ;)
