Broke my tie rod last night around 10:30pm and was wayy deep in sycamore wash:( hit a huge dirt wall on accident off course and launched my truck about 40-50ft and really abrupt hit at about 70mph:eek: so my left tie rod completely busted and my tire had gotten slashed in the sidewall from the inner fender well!! Was stuck out in the wash and called a buddy to bring the tow dolly, and he was gonna be awhile soo i decided to improvise and use a ratchet strap to tie my steering knuckle to my busted tie rod! it worked barely in reverse. so i reversed about 5 miles and made it to just past widow maker. then had a fire, chilled and relaxed while waitng till 2am to get the trailer finally! didnt get out of Syc till 3:30am. and didnt get home till 6am! haha had some issues with the trailer and had to stop in the middle of the road a few times and take my truck off and re position it. hah then as soon as orielly auto parts opened at 8am(wich i have not slept all day today or last night) i went and got a tie rod, fixed it and drove it home with the sketchiest alignment ever! finally aligned my truck, plugged part of the slash in the tire, and fixed a bunch of other minor shit, and its rollin good again. ready to hit some dez! haha here are the pictures from last nights adventures:

And of course we were hungry, and the the dousch working the drive through at 4am said we couldnt walk through the drive through, so we improvised:D

this is what my tie rod looked like after i pulled it out of the steering rack... (its suppose to be straight:eek:)
