Oh nice one!

 

Same side has been leaking where the cv meets the diff. Guess theres no avoiding a new axle now.

The boot is ripped completely open..

 

New seal where the diff meets the axle and a axle boot rebuild kit..should be cheaper then the whole asymbly

 

Ive replaced the seal twice already...pretty sure the problem is the axle itself

 

Well that sucks..

Jesus. I have two torn boots and they aren't that bad

 

pretty much the entire ribbed section of the boot tore off from the base... grease went EVERYWHERE on the drive home

Currently looking at different extended coilovers. King, Icon, Fox... Gonna give Downsouth motorsports a call sometime and figure something out. With how much I'm starting to wheel this thing, I'm not sure how well the eibach's/5100's are going to handle.

And since I'm swapping UCA's, I might as well go full MT; the extra travel and better dampening would be nice on the trails I wanna start hitting. Washboard is in my future.


So once I get the exhaust on, I'll get my shackles on; I'll be MT in the front and HOPEFULLY be DONE! with suspension.

 

And take off the fucking sway bar..don't be like tony and send 1400 on mid travel and keep the sway bar on.

fuuuck. The only think I can think of without moving into cut/fab territory is longer shocks, probably with resi.

I'm not sure if the 10" 5150's can handle the expos/shackles at full flex. the AP shackles are pretty long...probably gotta start looking at bumps

Looking under my truck today, my rear diff housing is scratched...my front stock skid is scratched to shit too
