Hail damage sucks. We had a pretty big storm role through here about a month and a half ago and now about 80% of the homes in my neighborhood had to get their roofs repaired. You see roofer signs all over the place. Luckly I was able to squeeze my truck inside since it's normally outside.

eordonez, I just felt the wrath of a decent sized hail storm my self. I was enjoying some left overs from my Bacon Explosion (yes, it was awesome) when all of the sudden I hear that all too familiar sound... It was as if a dump truck just dropped a load of gravel on my roof. The only good thing is, I rushed outside within a minute or so, and put the truck inside of the garage. Hopefully their was not any damage done, but by the time I was outside there was already quarter sized hail littering the ground. Tomorrow morning I will survey the damage. If there was any damage, I'll post some pictures.

My first experience with a hail storm in Texas was not pretty. Actually it was a tornado, but I was catching baseball sized hail as I was driving, trying to find some cover. Not pretty. Cracked my windshield in 3 places, multiple dents on my roof and hood. Pounded the Taco pretty good. I hate Texas...

"Pounded the Taco pretty good." That's what she said!:p

Hate to hear about the hail damage. I wouldn't park my truck under a tree for protection. May get more damage from a falling limb caused by the hail storm. I have covered my vehicles with thick quilts to cushion the hail and had 100% success in that I had no damage, while neighbors in the same storm did have damage.

I have a few small dents in my door. This looked like it would have been a perfect application. Did you get them repaired?

    that sucks.

It is fair for them to pay for the repair and you not do it. If I were to try and sell my truck now, I am almost guaranteed to take a $3000 hit off of the sale price.
