That's fair. Football games in CS are a family affair and fans that go don't want to have their kids there watching girls in little clothing shaking their body's. that's just the way it is. Aggies go to a football game to watch football. The dance team goes to basketball games because something needed to be done to cause interest in a sport everyone overlooks in Texas.

So basketball games aren't family affairs? I would rather go to a basketball game with kids than a football game because basketball is more laid back. Football is a little hectic in the sheer amount of people in one place.

He pulled that out of his ass. I'm surprised, after going there, he doesn't know the story behind the yell leaders. (short of what he's about to google)

I figured. Aggie games probably have the same amount of drunks as LSU, West Virginia, Ole Piss, and any other school's football game.

Thank you for teaching me! I know the history I also know a couple of years ago some pushed to have the dance team allowed on the sidelines during football games and was voted down by alum and student body overwhelmingly. I wasn't trying give y'all a history lesson as nobody ask for that. While as far as basketball goes it is the stepchild at A&M. Even when we were going to the tourney year after year they couldn't sell out half the games. I know lots of familys who no longer go to basketball games because of the dance team but a lot students go now.

Your point? Drunks are everywhere. Your never going to get away from that.

My point is that your being a pompous ass about how your game experience is about the family experience when it is the same as anywhere else. Except Starkvegas. We have cowbells.

Wow! Just trying to explain. Their is nothing wrong with having cheerleaders, I never meant to imply that (sorry if I did). I was just giving the reason why we haven't added cheerleaders to our football games. A&M is one of the most conservative public schools in the nation. Good or bad thats the way it is and always has been. Adding cheerleaders would nothing to help football games in A&Ms opinion but would hurt it some (not bad but some) so they don't mess with it.

If you think cheerleaders don't help games, go watch The Replacements.

You're all the same! One day, and then another day. You know? You should be ashamed! These poor little things... One day things will improve...
