    Sick paint job. Great build.

    Had a '90 Bronco with the 302, 4" Superlift, 33x12.5 BFGs, and 4.56 gears

Loved that truck... went on many adventures with it.

Thanks man. Unfortunately our engine is running rough again. dunno what the hell the problem is..and its getting rather annoying.

Were about done with it and just gunna rip out the whole drivetrain and do something special. I told dad im down as long as its over 400HP.

Very nice truck:D!!!! Reminds me of my old Bronco, 96 with the 351. I miss that thing, it was a reliable truck! I had the bed liner interior as well, but I didnt put carpet back over it.

A friend of mine has a Chevy 350 with TBI injection, a cam and some head work, headers, etc. When he built that engine it was running hot, pinging, and the headers actually glowed orange. It was running very lean. The fix for him involved a custom computer chip. The factory tune was not adequate for his relatively mild engine mods.

I also remember years later, something went wrong with the custom chip and the ECM went into some sort of limp home mode with the same symptoms.

Just something to consider. Although I just realized you've been driving this thing for awhile without any trouble.

Yer Bronco is looking like teh sex.:D

This is a great point. OP, is your fuel injection system Speed Density or Mass Air?

The Mass Air system handles engine upgrades well, but the Speed Density requires custom tuning even for minor upgrades because it doesn't measure the volume of air moving into the engine.

This really brings me back. I was fortunate in that my '95 F150 was Mass Air. It was hit-or-miss in those trucks around the mid-90s.

    hasnt over heated since...

but now it spits and sputters constantly...

we have tried just about everything. gas tank has been run completely empty

fresh gas has been put in...still spits and sputters.

ran that gas empty, put in ethanol free gas..same thing.

the fuel pump is fine, new injectors were put in when the engine was replaced. so we dont think fuel delivery is the issue.

    :frusty:

For the time being the bronco has been put on the back burner.

Parents are currently in the process of going under contract with building a new house..then that will be being built.
My sister is getting married in may, so money is going there

and its also deer season and prime fishing season. so we have been quite busy ahah

Nice! The time away from the project will make you enjoy it that much more when you jump back into it. Might want to double-check the base timing next time you're under the hood.

    Enjoy the upcoming fun! :)

Tacoma is stock and staying that way, Pickup is TBA as of now.
You will love having a hoist, I got one in my shop and it is my most useful tool out there, can't imagine life without it to be honest. Sure beats the hell out of wallowing around in the dirt I can tell you that.
