I know the majority of you all hate chrome, and hate the factory chrome clad wheels... But I thought some others may want to see what I have done to my truck.

    So far I have added:

    Painted front lower bumper
    Added chrome foglight trim
    Vanguard Bull bar
Chrome step boards that are close to the body
    Tinted windows
    A.R.E. Fiberglass bed cover
    Chrome door handles
    Chrome tailgate handle
    Tacoma hitch plug
    Michelin LTX-MS2 tires
    TRD exhaust tip
    TRD 3rd brake light cover
    Chrome grill overlay
    Door sill protectors
    Leather seat skins
    Heated front seats
    Wood trim kit

    Still on my list:

    Bed rug
    HID headlights
    Heated mirrors
    Reverse sensors
    Navigation
    Sub

If that's the look you're going for, good on you.

Did you have the dealership install your leather and heated seats...?

Where did you get the leather/heated seats and the factory looking knobs? How was wiring it? Cost?

I got the leather skins from ebay at a cost of 399.00 and the heated seat kit was from ebay as well. I think it was 89.00 The heated seat controls come as part of the heated seat kit. It was advertised as a toyota heated seat kit.

Wires were simple just needed a ignition controlled power source, ground, and had to tap in to the night time illumination from the other controls.

I didn't take any pictures during the install, but I used a guide I found on here to go by. I will see if I can find it and post it.

    Hi,

The chrome on black looks nice! You've got some continuity not a hodge podge.
Don't worry about what others think. Variety is good, if everyone did what I thought was right they'd all be driving speedway blue Prerunners, how boring would that be, and I'd have to trade to...? be different

Curious though about the tires, how do you like them and why did you go with the at2. Needin' a new set near future, not impressed with the 45k I get out of the Goodyear Triple Treads and not getting the employee discount since I ain't an employee any more so I'm looking at $220 a tire mounted with lifetime balance and rotations no road hazard.

    Jim

Did you cover the rear seats with leather skins too?

It looks black, but it's actually green lol

I have always run Michelins as a replacement tire on every truck I have owned. They just last forever and perform the best for me. The tires I have are the M/S2 and I choose them because of the open shoulder blocks to shed water, quietness on the road, and lots of sipes in the tread to help in snow and ice. These were 218 a tire installed.
