if i press on switch it goes off the light?

 

light just stays on on dashboard..... until i press on switch....
me going to make switch go bye bye i think.....

 

Looks to me like if you can loosen the bolt then move the switch until it makes contact with the metal bracket enough to push the switch in... then tighten the bolt back up.

 

.. this whole truck is a pos.....
throwing 2 codes as well
spent 1 hour messing with hook lock mechanism...battery tie down....
next is springs, exhaust leaks....
wtf was my bro in law thinking...

I meant the brake itself. That is actually working and it is just the light that is an issue right?

 

5.0 with GT40 intake is not a POS

 

im thinking i have an intake leak as the codes im throwing are for bolt banks

 

0171 0174 bank to lean pass and driver side

 

Never had that issue with one of mine. The exhaust manifolds have had leaks on all of mine. Never an intake leak. That will not be good at all.

 

according to the exploder forums its been a steady problem with them...intake manifold gaskets or something leaking and sending too much oxygen downstream and throwing the 02 sensor off

yea i could nt fit under there and didnt have access to a jack to fully check but im sure the ext leak is back further.....
