Community college first..if they keep a good GPA then that will get a lot more help after getting an associate's.

Look into scholarships..years ago we went to the Boston Public Library to find out about that. Unreal how many things one can get one for

Depends. Mine had the frame replaced, it just showed up as service on Carfax. Go into a toyota dealer with the VIN and they can look it up for you.

UVM gave my daughter 10k per year just for getting good grades in HS, still really expensive though.

Try living in the state with the second highest in-state tuition in the nation.

I think there are plenty of studies that show that paying more for an undergraduate degree does not translate into higher income, especially if that extra cost has to be borrowed.

^^ this! It's not were you start, it's where you finish. The first two years are just basic courses that are essentially the same no matter which college you attend

So I rented the rug doctor today and tired doing my seats. It came out pretty good. I'm liking it. For 30 bucks for the rental and 1 hour of my time, there clean and smell great. First job done. Now I gotta clean the outside. Some guy today must of opened his door to much and I have a lovely ding on the door:mad:. I park far away and someone still wants to get close to me. I dont get it:confused: Now getting these scratches off the paint so it looks somewhat good.

    I found the VIN !

Toyota records indicate that the frame got the under coating treatment at ~ 67k miles.

So I guess the frame is warranted until 2018. anyone with experience with the undercoating, I've always been of the opinion that undercoating just hides rust going on beneath.

This is what the record shows: "COURTESY LOANER PROVIDED TO CUST, PERFORM MULTI-POINT INSPECTION,, LSC 90D APPLY WAX TREATMENT SSC, SUBLET REPAIRS, SUBLET REPAIRS"

    Interpretation anyone ?

So does that mean if rust continues on the truck, that they will replace the frame. Considering that you have the warranty till 2018. Ive been looking at a few but most of first gens ive seen never got the frame recalled.

I heard of fluid film. I heard its pretty good. If I get a first gen, i'll be doing that. I went to autozone today and saw a kid with a lifted first gen and i was talking with him and he said that fluid film was pretty good.

Since the initial inspection was done within the warranty period, if there is any significant rust through in the frame before 2018, they will replace the frame.

That's good to hear. Problem with rust is that if you don't arrest it before covering it up, it just continues unseen...

Well thats good to hear. So as long as the parts and the engine are fine, the truck should last you a lot more years to come:). Thats nice.

Yeah if you have rust, putting something over it isnt gonna really help the problem. I hope to find a nice somewhat rust free truck but thats not likey gonna happen. With a truck that old, a little rust is gonna happen no matter what.

3750 MAINTENANCE, CHANGE ENGINE OIL, TIRE ROTATION, RUST INSPECTION (PASS)

the LSC 90D APPLY WAX TREATMENT SSC
Is a dyed wax injected into the frame to see if any of the color appears on the exterior of the frame for unseen perforation.

Dave, the bold lettering is what the dealer entered into the record, wondering what it all means; why would the work be "sublet" ?
