I've run both. I voted for the KM2's. STT's have an annoying sound on the road (IMO), and they chunk horribly in the rocks.

    Tint 5%/20%. Waiting on parts!
Had the STTs on my '07 and loved them! They were still pretty new at the time so people would come up to me all the time and ask what they were. I think they look mean! As for road noise, well I thought they were pretty quiet compared to Super Swamper SSRs on the truck before, so they never bothered me.:p They lasted forever, and no chunking problems, but I did stick to mostly dirt/mud, not rocks. They were great on wet/ice/snow also. I will probably buy them again next week for my '13, just depends on the best deal I can find. Wish you the best!:)

I'd vote KMII's outta 'dis pair...

but I sold my KMII's with 80%+ tread
and opted for Hankook MT RT03's (muliti-traction) instead.

I'm much happier with the kooks.
They have proven to be a durable tire
as well as better in most comparative traction conditions.
and at a lower price then the KMII's buy in.

    KMII's are over rated IMO

Do you wheel in rocks? Mine chunked quite a bit in the rocks with only a couple of trips.

Just got myself a set of KM2's the other day (My A/T's were terrible in the snow) I was debating on them or the STT's as well. So far I love them, they work amazing in the deep powered snow, not to loud on the road either. I did I ton of research and most people voted for the KM2's.

I just pulled the trigger on km2's. Should be arriving later this week. The size I picked is 255/85/16, with almost no lift on an 09 dc, so I've got my fingers crossed. After reading some of the replies, think I'll have to make sure they are load range e before they go on.

I have 3 inches on my 1st gen and they rub at full lock but just a little bit. Don't know about 2nd gens, but they are 34 inches high at the tallest nob (although they are supposed to be 33s) . Hope they fit!

BFG AT is excellent in the snow. I've been running BFG AT on all my trucks since 06

Sorry, what I meant was slush. I had 265/75/16 A/T's, they were 10.5 wide so I would float on the slush very easily, and in sticky snow they would just clog up and turned into slicks. I personally didn't like them.

Awesome, the tires go very will with the rims! Any rubbing at at all?

Initially only the right side rubbed the mud flap. Wheel alignment was way off on that side, specifically the caster setting. Now that it's aligned right no more rubbing! Ever since I got the tires and wheels on I've been on TW sharing and posting about my truck. I was away for a while, but I'm excited about my truck again! Can't wait for the next mod!
