Marked my filter and one on my tires :D

Not even sure the free oil change is worth it anymore. Usually takes and hour or more, even when i make an appointment a week ahead of time. My cousin has a tire place/shop in the city I work. I would usually drop my car off when he opened and pick it up when ever before I left work. No wasting time. Plus I get the family discount. Might end up doing this next time.

They should have colluded and screwed you at $49.99 :D

    Are they bad?

I think I mid bid on those 17" sport rims. I've kinda been tempted to buy a pair, powder coat them and throw some beater tires on. My uncle has a very used set of BFG A/T's or whatever at 285/65 or 70 I think. Pretty damn big.

$100 for sport 17" rims + free tires + powdercoat job at +$150? not a bad spin

I love my new truck but miss my Tacoma
It's a crossover sled so its a little long on tight trails but fine on trails more open. It's also a 4 stroke so it should last and be reliable but heavy. Basically it's a compromise sled trying to fit into every category. Not bad. How much is it?

I didn't think they were rated bad, aren't they comparable to the Hankook A/Ts? :notsure:

Either way, it's tough to find A/T truck tires that fit a 17" rim for $125. Usually they're closer to $200.

You can get Treadwrights in the $120/tire neighborhood. Never had them myself but people seem to like them.

And won't clear the brake calipers... No thanks. I wouldn't mind going to 16's but I wouldn't want to go with 15's. Too small for my tastes.

I think they are asking around $4k, which I think may be a little much for '07 w/ 5000 miles. Supposedly there is nothing wrong with it, they have 4 sleds and want to downsize. I've always wanted something good in deep snow.

I am pretty happy with 16's. No noticeable difference in the handling, and they are cheaper. Plus I love the FJ wheels

My truck came with 16" baja wheels, I sold them and went to 17" TRD Sport wheels. I like the looks of the tire/wheel ratio with 17's. Just personal preference though.

Absolutely agree about the wheel/tire ratio. If the FJ trd's came in a 17, I would have preferred those.

I still have the sport wheels in the basement. I didnt sell them because I wasnt sure if I was going to stick with the FJ's long term

Yeah I like the 17"s much more but my favorite is a 18" with a back spacing. Take a look at the BBS's I believe KPT still has them :D. All time favorite truck :D.

Satoshi'd grill. blacked out badges. aftermarket sound system. De-chromed and color matched. OME 885s + Dakars with 3rd leaf removed. LR UCAs. Scs stealth 6 with 285 duratracs. BAMF sliders
I really like my 17s. I was really close to going with some 18" mall crawlers with black and chrome but i am really happy i didn't. I really love the look of bronze wheels but it think it would look weird with mag gray.

Edit: i really used really alot in this post...really.
