Holy shit new guy, way to make an intro.

    Agreed

The skewp does add horsepower! You must have been sleeping under a rock this whole time.

    As do I  :D

It helps me sleep at night as well. Very peacefully at that

Here's the truth, nobody was bashing the Baja. It's an awesome truck. I could have afforded it, being as I have a fully loaded TRD Sport. It just wasn't a truck that appealed to me as much as the sport did. \ thread

    Nobody was. Lol.

    Well put my man!

    Thank god.

Well put. If I have to read " buy an SR5 and do it yourself" again I'll puke.
Can't afford a Baja? Get over yourself.
I can't afford one and I have gotten over myself :)

Let's be real. All Toyota did was make a noob :spy: account on TacomaWorld, ask what would be the best lift kit, someone told em billies, and they did what everyone does on here when they get a Taco, upgraded the crappy suspension some. Too bad they didn't throw an AAL in there

I REALLY hope you're being sarcastic here...

I <3 haters...Part of being a truck enthusiast is actually doing something yourself. If you puke at the idea of buying an SR5 and doing it yourself, then I'm not really sure what you're doing on a truck forum.

Here's my "pile of puke" SR5. All modifications and maintenance done by yours truly.

The only pro/ anti baja comments here are fictional comments based upon the user Baja's original post in this thread. No one here was bashing the vehicle at all as a matter of fact.

I don't respect other Tacoma owners just for owning a vehicle. That'd be just silly. I respect people who have conduct and character that is commendable.

I don't puke at your truck but also don't congratulate you for installing flares and a lift.

What I puke at is the thought that the baja, tx, sport ( or whatever someone chooses to buy) is not the better option for them.
Someone wants a sport and some bitter bastard says a sport is stupid, buy an sr5 and add a scoop.

    No. That is stupid.

The baja rules. Anyone who says otherwise is really coming across as silly.

An I used to be happy to do the work but now I prefer to spend my time in a different way. Do you see me talking shit to all the people who prefer to do the modifications themselves. No...

You are totally entitled to have an opinion but to assume I give a shit about money because I bought a more expensive truck is wrong. I just want to have a nice truck and be able to focus time elsewhere. Time is more important to me. Obviously, I shelled out extra bucks to not have to add a lift, tire, rims, exhaust, UCA, springs, billys, etc....

Don't assume I am richer than you or I don't think you are entitled to enjoy to opinion... But don't assume I couldn't have done the same shit you and everyone else did by buying shit aftermarket, saving a few bucks and feeling like it is personalized....well it is not... your truck is more common.... how many people have the same standard after market combination of gear? Much more than the 750 bajas that were produced in 2012.

Have an opinion... Trash whatever you want... but respect other people to not assume your values are the same as theirs.

Thanks for underscoring my point. I don't care anymore about pouring over which aftermarket item is better or what everyone else has or htinks.. I just wanted a capable truck so i could do all of the things you mentioned above...IF spending the extra money is an issue, then money matters to you. If spending the extra money doesn't matter to you, then obviously money isnt important and just enjoying a rig that is capable is.

I'd rather spend my time enjoying life than wasting my time debating which shock is better or turning a wrench to fasten a fkn bolt... my time is better spent doing what I enjoy.

Oh and I am sure you guys balance your tires at home and set your alignments at home and.... yeah... right.

Sorry if I offended but people come to this board to enjoy their truck, not listen to other people assume you give a fuck about a few grand between what comes on a baja and what you "could" do aftermarket. I just want a damn 4x4 and not compare your values to mine because I DGAF about what you would have done in my shoes.

I wouldn't have bought half of the trucks I see in this thread... I know that is stupid meaningless bs so I save all of you the annoyance. Please do the same. Or should we all just degrade to the standard internet level and just talk shit.

Not it doesn't guy. I built a truck, destroyed it multiple times, rebuilt it, and finally parted it out. Any monkey can turn a wrench. It is very respectable but your not special guy.

As the other guy said, fender flares, rims, tires, and a camper thing... congrats. WOOOOOOW.

I never claimed to be any better but the one-sided baja hate fest is a sad boring one sided argument. I just want to balance out the shit talking ;)

The "hate fest" goes both ways. People ripping on the "non functional" hood scoop of the sport. Or the "gaudy " looking chrome on the offload. It's a forum and people have opinions. Don't sweat the small stuff. Grow thicker skin.

We were poking and making fun of the big BAJA stickers that come on the BAJA if you are that short short sighted to where you can't understand that we are simply having some fun then I feel truly sorry for you man. Life is short, live a little, laugh a little.
