January 2013 Citrus meet

Excuse me for not reading the entire thread but if someone can give me a brief summary of this

where in fl? Never heard of citrus
Anyone from jax area going(im hour north of jax)

NW of Orlando, maybe an hour or so I believe.

Same here! I love that trail. Has anyone been to the bottom of the valley yet? I was looking at google maps and I think there is a back way into the valley. On a not so positive note I was out there again last night and saw another undercover FWC truck lurking around.

 

For those who don't know where citrus is, Google "Withlacooche state forest" or look for "Inverness FL" and then look around for a really big state forest. I will post the coordinates again shortly.

Damn that's a lot farther then I thought... I was thinking about doing a day trip with a couple of buddies but $hit it wouod be like 6 hours round trip.....

 

Can one of you guys pm me the coordinates to this "graveyard" trail ... I missed it last meet... And want to check it out this time around

Yeah I know dude I suck really bad but I have family coming in that weekend. Just found out over Christmas and been wondering how to break the news to everyone.. But hopefully I can get up there early afternoon Friday and spend the night. Just gotta take off early Saturday morning. I'm somewhat bummed about it but sometimes you gotta do what ya gotta do..sux

if you pass soon eenough youll be able to make it ! haha. Also if you follow the main trail south to the main road go about a 1/4 mile east of the main road and trail road then there is a trail right next to a graveyard.
