    Ignore the rear end sag.

265/75-16 BFG AT KOs on black TRD Beadlock wheels (FJ Trail Team / Tacoma T|X)

No spacers, stock mudflaps. I rub maybe every 4th time I cut the wheel in reverse and then once when I was driving in my Mom's backyard on a hill. Nothing in normal usage. The mudflap is thick rubber/plastic right where the tire would hit.

I just had them installed a week ago, and so far i have about 250 miles on them, so they are new to me too. I've had them on back roads, highway, and last night about 2 inches of snow, and so far im happy. In the snow i was able to drive pretty much all in 2wd, with a little bit a slipping. I didn't have any weight in the bed though. I put it in 4wd a few times, just because there were others around me, and didnt want to risk fishtailing into a bad situation.

I had the LTX M/S2's on my previous taco which were awesome, and was going to get those again, but wanted to get a little bit more aggressive tread this time around, without sacrificing MPGs and excessive road noise.

    What are your first impressions?

I had the truck for 2 days last week after the purchase while It was still in florida before shipping it up to me in CT. Maybe 350 miles on it so far. So still very new to me also but so far I liked them. I went out in the everglades the day after I bought it and had fun in the sand and dirt roads. All 2WD roads nothing technical or anything like that and no Mud :( but they did what they needed to and held up pretty nice.
On the highway they were good and very easy to maneuver when trying to park in tight places down in south florida, also good in the Florida rain.

Tim, with that size tire plus the spacers did you have any rubbing issues?
I am going to go with 265/70/17 tires which I believe is the same size as yours, but I wasn't sure if the 1.25 spacers would cause any rubbing.

Stock, fresh from the dealer w/ 265/70/16's with factory suspension. No rubbing, but lacking the ground clearance I would like.

The spacers won't cause the rubbing, they just help you get the back spacing you need for clearance behind the tire. Mine barely rub, and only on a lumpy part of the mudflap. I can't say what would happen without spacers as I didn't even bother trying. I've ran spacers on a few vehicles with no issues. Just don't cheap out and follow the directions. Mine are spidertrax.
