    It's not as heavy as you think. Since he ditched the front axle, the older diesels are less than 5500 lbs for a 4x2. Your truck is a little over 4000.


    The 2005 tundra horsepower rating was overrated. That's exactly why it was reduced to 271 hp in 2006 with absolutely zero change to the drivetrain on the truck. Further, that (overrated) HP rating is at the flywheel. Even if we assume you're at 280, at the rear wheels you'll be lucky to hit 225.

    What two trucks did you ride in with Giant 64" kits?
    What link trucks have you ridden in?

    Ive ridden in my buddies tundy with the giant 64 kit and link killers, Rode like shit, and then I rode in Vi's truck before he got rid of the whole kit and it rode decent, but nowhere near as good as they say it is.

    Your's is the only truck I havent been in that is running that kit that im familiar with.

    Ive ridden in Jerry's race truck (the plow) many times, Jeff's dust for dogs beamed and linked race truck, and my buddies fully camburg built ranger.
