My ABS light came on today. Was going to pull a code but realized the problem. I had just washed the truck so I figured got some water in a connector. Was going to put dielectric grease when I saw my left sensor had a whole rubbed in it. :(

I think I lucked out. I cut about an inch out of the wire soldered it back together and heat shrunk everything. No more light. Drove around the block and the light turned off. And it's been off for about 30 miles now.

I've been waiting all week so I can attempt to black out my emblems and now its over cast and sprinkling.

Using plasti dip. I was going to do my wheels too but I did not have the time to balance my tires with sticky weights yet.

FYI if you paint your tailgate upside down like I did. Flip it over and make sure you painted the top of the emblems before removing the tape. I'm having to retape them.

I got a new to me intake. It's a XDI. I know that they're discontinued but I liked the idea of the reverse filter thought I'd give it a try. I like it but it is loud. On a long trip may get annoying. :)

About a week ago I took my grille apart and plastidiped the outer chrome part. Then soldered it back together. And blacked out all my emblems

This is before I put it back together.

Added extra awesomeness to its original awesomeness.
    Haha nice!

So you soldered the grille together? You must be talking those little tabs? I had one broke and never thought of that, but they do feel like metal. Any pics of where you are talking just so I can confirm?

Yeah the plastic tabs you use the large flat tip on your soldering gun and melt the back together.

You might want to start a build thread if you plan on posting your mods to your truck. Just a suggestion.
