Here are a few of my christmas presents from this year.

    Morakniv - Companion MG
This is a $14 knife on Amazon, but it will shave right out of the box. It's a pretty nice knife for the money.

    Gerber - Freeman Fixed
    Nice heavy blade.

    Gerber - Artifiact
    Fun little stocking stuffer

The artifact has a fold out exacto blade, which makes it good for opening taped packages or cutting string. The bottle opener, pry bar, and screwdrivers will be put to more use.

My cousin is a chef and a master at sharpening knives. I'm going to get him to help me put a better edge on the Gerber. As for the Mora, all I can say is that I'm impressed.

yea. the Mora is a friggen scalpel. sharpest knife i own. says a lot for a $15 knife. my Swedish friend says that is the only knife they carry over there..

the sheath is goofy tho. but i am not spending more money on a sheath when the knife is so cheap.

nah, you don't want it, it's damaged. it's got two arc marks on the back of the blade where my cousin wasn't being to smart with it.

i bought it from some japanese woodworking store, going out of business. i got it for a great deal!

you can buy one on Amazon. great great axe. razor sharp. great balance and heft. it is the "small forest axe". they (Gransfor Bruks) make about 15 different models.

I got this while on active duty in the mid 1990's. We were allowed to choose a folding knife for or web gear.

These are pic's of the internet as my camera is broken. Of course mine has a bit more wear on it.
