You will probably get more replies in the forum section not the classified. I have a undercover. I like extremely well. Nice and dry inside no leaks found. Bought direct from factory and shipped to my door UPS I think free shipping. The factory matched the best price just call them and let them know your best price.

Difficulty in installation is a 3 out of 5. Takes time to fine tune a bit but works real well if you follow the instructions. I set aside a day and needed about 1/2 day to do it right. I hear people can do it in an hour.... This I gotta see cause I bet it does not fit as well as mine. Take your time and you will be happy like me. Secure and dry just what you need.

I have had both now, a g2 on my Tundra- and now a flex on my Tacoma.
I actually like the flex for the latching and sealing better than the g2. Both have been great covers for what I use them for.

Do you need to add a tailgate lock to secure your bed with these covers?or, does the cover somehow lock to the tailgate?

I bought an UnderCover Flex for my 6' Taco 2007 and installed it in under an hour. It was straightforward to install (1/2" wrench was dead easy). 6 bolts x 1/2" and you are good to go. :D

I took about another 15 min to fine tune the locking panels starting from the front bulkhead 2 hand tightened knobs aligned... then ensure that the red vinyl dipped lever that allows the first folding panel by the bulkhead to lock into BOTH side rails.

Then I learned that the 2 panels remaining with their side latches just needed to be aligned on their way down so that they BOTH lock at the same time. Just takes some getting used to when you close the 2 remaining panels.

And yeah, I gotta go and buy a tail gate lock ; Pop N Lock 5200 is in my sights...

Been very happy with the Undercover Flex. My cousin has a Bakflip G2 on his F150 and he's happy with it too.

Buy what works for you and yer budget! :)

    Cheers,
    Barney

The cover comes with locks I believe. Undercover is a great company with awesome customer support, you can also buy almost every part for your cover separately!
